Ultra-fast detection in droplet microfluidics using ion mobility spectrometry

The aim of this project is the fast, label-free detection of individual droplets in microfluidic chip systems using IMS. The challenge is to explore the possibilities and limits of this promising detection method for droplet microfluidics and to enable the label-free detection of individual droplet contents at high throughput.
