LABORATORY OF NANO AND QUANTUM ENGINEERING

The Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering (LNQE) is an interdisciplinary Leibniz Research Centre of the Leibniz University Hannover in the field of nanotechnology. Our goals are both excellent basic research and application-oriented engineering in the nanoscale accompanied by appropriate interdisciplinary training. Currently, 33 working groups from physics, chemistry and engineering are involved. To achieve our goals, we operate a shared research building in Hanover.

LOWER SAXONY CENTRE FOR BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING, IMPLANT RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

The institute is a member of the Lower Saxony Centre for Biomedical Engineering, Implant Research and Development - NIFE. Besides the membership in NIFE, the institute is also part of the associated centre eNIFE, which was founded on 01.10.2014 at the  Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

PUPILS' LABORATORY TECHLAB

The TechLab is a project of the Departments of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Physics of Leibniz Universität Hannover to promote the technical and scientific interest of pupils. Within this framework, a middle school student laboratory was set up in the buildings of the Leibniz University of Hannover in 2005. The TechLab is affiliated with the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Measurement Technology. In a positive working atmosphere, the students will experience the engineering achievements in the development of everyday devices, and the open design of the experiments will give them the freedom to develop their own ideas.
